Okay, now I want to talk a little bit about Noah. I believe that the evidence is in favor of the story of Noah being true. After all, as I have already stated, the evidence of a world wide flood, namely Hydrodynamic Sorting, lends some credence to the story. And add to that the fact that they have discovered an ancient, petrified wooden vessel more than 13,000 feet above sea level, right where, according to the Noah account, it was supposed to have settled as the flood subsided. AND this vessel has been tested and measured and it is the proper dimensions for Noah's boat, plus it is HOLLOW! These pieces of evidence make a convincing case for the story of Noah.

Now, some people have trouble with the Noah account because they have trouble with God. But, we are not talking about God, here. We are talking about physical, tested evidence that supports a story of a guy who built a boat and survived a world wide flood. Forget about the religious part of this account for now. We are not dealing with religion, only solid, verifiable, scientific FACTS. Or, if it will help for now, since the paranormal seems to be gaining acceptance, perhaps those people who need to can attribute the FACT that this boat was built to Noah having a paranormal experience. No matter how you look at it, this boat was written about in a very old document, and when the story was put to the test, namely looking for evidence of this boat, the boat was found right where it was supposed to be. This is not a coincidence! Look at this thing, and remember that it has been tested and found to be not natural stone, but petrified wood, and that further tests revealed that it is hollow...

If you look at the ground around the boat you will see that the rocks show signs of wave action, as do many other areas of the mountain. If you look at this side of the boat, near the back, you can see several vertical 'rocks'. On closer examination they appear to be the ribs of the boat. Here is a closer look.

When they studied the ribs and sides of the boat, they discovered rivets! These rivets were made of a metal alloy that included aluminum! Hello! This is amazing stuff here! The FACT (remember, to be a fact it has to be observed and tested, which it has! The 'Theory' can not make that claim! Interesting, though, that that would be the case.) that this boat even exists throws the entire 'Theory of Evolution' into the trash heap. That is why it is basically ignored by the 'scientific' community.
Look, these pictures are REAL. This boat REALLY exists. It is REALLY more than 13,000 feet above sea level. It is REALLY the right dimensions and it is REALLY made of wood (now petrified). Somebody went to a lot of trouble to build this thing and I don't think that it's a good idea to just act like it doesn't exist.

The existence of this boat, right where it was supposed to be, is strong evidence that there was a flood and that the Biblical account of the flood is historically accurate. Since the peak of Ararat is over 17,000 feet above sea level, and the Noah account says that it was completely covered with water, we can pretty much assume that the flood was world wide. Over 17,000 feet! That's a few MILES DEEP! That would be a lot of pressure bearing down on everything that the waters had buried. Enough to make stone. Enough to compress vegetation into coal. Enough pressure to compress all of the animals (including dinosaurs!), and people that were buried, into the petroleum that our world is so dependant on today. That's right, every time you go for a ride in your car, you're burning the remains of some of your ancestors!

Look, don't be a fool and discount this story just because it is found in the Bible. Remember that historically speaking, the Bible is very accurate and that parts of it which have been ridiculed as being nonsense have, over the course of time and scientific discovery, proven themselves to be accurate. Over and over this has happened so, at the very least, as an historic document, this book needs to be taken seriously. Don't be prejudiced against it simply because of what you think it represents. All over the world there are many other flood stories (almost 300!), though for the most part, these stories are nearly identical. The point is this- With so many stories, with the world wide existence of Hydrodynamic Sorting, with a boat being found exactly where it was said to have been left, we can not just discount this vessel and what it represents. I, for one, refuse to.

But, if the flood story is true, how did it happen? What caused the flood? What was the world like before the flood? Is there any scientific evidence that will help us answer these questions? I believe that the answer to all of these questions is yes. So, we're going to take a look at what the world was probably like before the flood occurred. After that we'll take a look at how the flood occurred and then finally, we'll take a look at what has happened to the Earth since the flood subsided, and we'll look at how it subsided.
